1. Take a Thai Ladyboy out to dinner at a questionable dining establishment
2. Take Thai Ladyboy home and finally lose virginity...and catch BOTH HEP A and B!
3. .....
4. Profit!

A or B that is. I'm now officially "immune" to A and B. Just got my last regiment of vaccine shots (Twinrix - dual Hep A and B). Last year I got 3 shots ahead of going to China which probably gave me 80-90% immunity, and now I just got the final dose which should give me 98-100%. I had the advanced regiment which meant I had to come back a year later to get a final booster. Good to since I'm just about to leave for Belize in a few days (one week vacation with the parents).

Also feels nice to no longer be DEATHLY afraid of needles like I used to be only a few years back.

I've spent a ton of time in Belize.... no hepatitis for me. Meningitis though.... woops.

Meningitis is serious!

We are just going for a week and sadly will not see much of the real Belize, culturally. We will be going to Ambergris Caye. Mostly a snorkelling vacation. Did you enjoy Belize?

Hepatitis c is almost always 100% transmitted by dirty needles.

So anyone who says they got it from unprotected sex is almost always lying about it and got it from shooting up iv drugs with dirty needles...

Yet, oddly enough, I know a couple of people who are Hep C positive who never used drugs of any kind. Lifestyle caused? Probably...but not from dirty needles. These are people I've known long enough that I THINK I'd have known if they were drug users...especially intravenous drug users. COULD they have gotten it from a dirty needle in another way? Perhaps...

Doesn't have to be from drug use:

Sexual transmission is very rare according to wiki but there are lots of other ways of getting it. Anywhere where you have to break the skin and a tool is involved that is not properly sterilized.

How old are the people in question? Testing of blood for Hep C did not start until the mid-late 1980s with the HIV scare.

Lets say your talking about someone in their 40s, 50s or 60s, they could have been infected with Hep C though a blood transfusion before the 1980s.

Its true that Hep C can be spread besides sharing needles, but the majority of the time its spread through direct blood-to-blood contact.
