Clicking EDIT opens new window called Permition were all Group or User is not available for change to Allow or Deny Permissions.

How can I solve this problem?

I'm trying to install the SONY PlayMemories HOME program on my PC. The installation was successful in Windows 10, but in Windows 11 it is aborted with the message that "Unable to continue installation because MergeModule_x86.msi installation failed".

Now what I want is to disable all the limitations that may exist in the "Program Files x86" folder regarding administrator privileges.

It would just be an attempt to see if I could get around the problem.

You would probably be better off setting a "Compatibility Mode" for the installer for Win10 mode, as it may lack a mergemodule or whatever for win11 in the installer.

Try running the setup with admin mode and Windows 10 compatibility.

In the meantime, I was able to solve the problem through a post found on another forum.
