Giuliani DENIED by Greedy Democrats

Texmaster

Banned
You would think politics would take a side note considering this crisis but the Democrats have other ideas.

Instead of leaving the most experienced and knowledgable person in office for just 3 more months during this crisis, they decided to let politics rule instead of common sense. What a shocker.

Guiliani Denied by Greedy Democrats

Yes but Howard Stern is campaigning on his radio show with the promise if he is elected to turn over office to Giuliani.

According to Giuliani he would stay if asked, but was not making the request himself...

Or did that change?

Heh. Too bad Giuliani won't get to bend the rules. I think he handled himself pretty well until he tried to subvert the democratic system and use this tragedy for a power grab. I think he was a good mayor. But you don't make the rules in the middle of the game. You plan ahead and execute. Funny how conservative hypocricy starts oozing out in times like these.

And don't get me wrong. I dont want a new republican in either! During this crisis not only do you need the person who is most familar with the situation but you need the LEADER as well.

Where is the hypocracy? Better be able to back that BS up little buddy.

The fact is if it was repubicans trying to oust a Democrat Mayor in a time of crisis when all they asked for was a few more months, I would be ashamed.

Too bad you can't see past your own politics.

Texmaster, it never ceases to amaze me how no subject is out of your opportunity to make pointed political attacks. I am not opposed to Giuliani staying and I think he has done a great job. However, hasn't he already stated that he has no intentions of seeking re-election? I guess the Drudge Report, which is not biased in any way, forgot to mention that.

>>>Too bad you can't see past your own politics<<<

There is no missing seeing yours.😉

What is your source? I just saw a type written page. Is this made up?

They're just trying to bring honor and accountability back to the White House...I mean Gracie Mansion.

You know, there are some serious problems that could stem from subverting the rules like this.

Churchill was defeated in 1945, but war torn Britain held together anyway.

<< Texmaster, it never ceases to amaze me how no subject is out of your opportunity to make pointed political attacks. >>

If you notice since the attack, I haven't ONCE brought up poltiics. Of course if you actually read more and trolled less you would have seen this.

The only thing you are proving here is your own stupidity.

And your stupidity still shines through here. This is NOT a re-election but an extention of 3 months just through this crisis.

Read more, it will save you the embarassment.

Will you apologize if its proven true? LOL

Thought not.

The war didn't start in 1945 either.

I wouldn't have a problem with the mayor staying in office for a few months. I also don't have a problem with him being replaced.

I realize that yes, there is definite value to using the experience of the current mayor. We also have to look at what policies are in question here. The voters of New York passed the term limits that require Giuliani to bow out. On one hand, you're considering saying "Yeah, I know we passed it, but we didn't mean it" or "This is a special case".

I wouldn't have a problem saying this is a special case. For the most part, however, we need to uphold what has come before or we risk compromising the integrity.

Giuliani isn't commanding the SAS either.

Term limits = law
Situational law = not good
Absolute law = not necessarily good either

This is a tough call, but I think "bending" the law never sets a good precedent. I do like Giuliani, but who's to say the next mayor couldn't be just as effective? The people will elect whomever they deem the best choice.

Please Texmaster, we know if Giuliani was Democrat you'd be on him like stink on a dog, decrying him for being greedy in staying longer. You are a one-track mind and it's sad, really.

And that proves what.

This crisis is new and fresh. A new person in office at this time would be a MAJOR mistake republican or democrat. It takes TIME to set up a new mayor. And right now, communciation is vital. Having the same peopel in office now and into the next few months is Critical.

Nothing to apologize for. This is old news. Rudy opted out of stirring the pot, and gave notice he was interested in heading up the Port Authority. He took the high ground and said he has served his time as Mayor. He doesn't see the need to change the rules for this. What's the problem? He sounds like a reasonable man.

You're in Texas. Let the New Yorkers speak about there own politicians. They may know a little more than you. They are closer to the story. Hell, this isn't even newsworthy. What is your source?

The vacation is over. Your moronic comment about me bringing up politics was proven DEAD WRONG. The very reason I went this long was out of respect. Of course in your own trolling this fact escaped you. Can't say I'm suprised.

Then you obviously dont know me.

And your moronic comments just conclude that fact.

Next time before you spew this BS, cheak the record, save yourself the embarassment.

Then why did you bring up its validity? Answer that please.

I'm sorry I thought this was a NATIONAL crisis. Changing leadership in the midst of a crisis is NEVER good, republican or democrat.
