Good looking is a plus but if he can't carry on a conversation, has a big ego, is a racist, a drug addict, a drunk, obnoxious, or slovenly, then looks don't mean a thing. I feel your pain. :| Also got a friend (more like an ex-friend), who cheated on his girl and couldn't care less about her. I tried "following" his steps, but to no vail. I tried getting to hook up with a girl I didn't know last year. She didn't want anything ... and today, she's one of my best friends (and one of the girls that said the aformentioned comment). It could've worked between us, if I hadn't done that stupid thing last year.

Just try to be who you are ... I know it's a corny comment, and that it sounds hopeless. But you won't get in any trouble ...

Yah, you guys are right. I don't think I will really change. I have kept it up for 19 years after all. My above was just my small rant It just gets so frustrating sometimes... But in the end it really is important to stay true to yourself.

my older brother actaully had a problem like this, i'm a guy myself but i KNOW that he is considered good lookin, he's tall and slim and always smiling with black wavy hair and he's really nice. when he was in grade 9 i was hangin out with him and his friends and he told everybody that women just seemed to ignore him for some reason no matter how nice he was to them
about a year later he started hanging with a bunch of losers with bad attitudes and he sort of became a moron himself but not necesarily an asshole and he had girlfriends left and right

basically if you ignore women like they don't exist they will want to be with you, if you are nice to them they will ignore you, if you are a jerk they will not like you but stay with you, if you have very low grades they will be attracted to you, if you have a stable life with no mental bagage they will not be attracted to you (even though they claim they will be)

women don't want successful smart people who are nice, they want guys who flip burgers and have a bad macho attitude who lick the boots of the successful smart people

Ok, I will admit that I like a challenge but I do not like @ssholes. A guy is appealing if he has his own life, interests, etc. and sometimes it might take some effort to get him to notice you which can make it a worthwhile pursuit. A guy who treats women like crap and tell them what to do is not worth my time. My thought is, I don't tell my boyfriend what he can and cannot do, I expect the same courtesy and if it isn't there, forget it.
