Well, if I love someone, I don't care if they have the buttocks of an ape. Being of Mediterranean heritage, there have been some mighty hairy men in my family. And I certainly don't expect them to go through the torture of waxing that I endure in the name of esthetics.
So for me, the answer is 'not really'.
Im guessing there have probably been some mighty hairy women in your family too then?
Well, since we are mixed, some of us have been hairier than others. My sisters got lucky and don't have the problem... I got to have a close relationship with an electrolysist.
<--- no longer hairy
How much did it cost, how painful, and how many treatments?
Yeah i wanna know too.. i inherited the hairy gene.. and im sick of waxing
My problem came mostly from my pregnancies... when my hormones went into overdrive, my hair follicles went crazy. I'd say my case was moderate... Mother Nature thought it would be funny if I was pregnant AND had a little goatee.
It took about one year of one hour treatments, every month, at $45 each. She basically worked on my chin, it wasn't a very large area. I can't imagine larger areas being worked on!!!

Also, it did hurt quite a bit... imagine a needle going into your hair follicle and delivering an electric shock. Yep. Ouchee!
The rest of me is just mostly soft peach fuzz, but if I ever have an episode of wild hairs gone mad again, I'll probably try the laser treatments. I hear that they are economically the equivalent of electrolysis and I hear you don't feel a thing!!!
