My question is when does a lemonade stand become a vender stand?

so are you saying she should be shut down?

this is like claiming garage sales are home business.

If its done everyday, yeah it could be! where is the line drawn?

Mim Murray, 10, and Marisa Miller-Stockie, 12, of St. Louis, have sold lemonade together for three summers, hoping to save enough for laptop computers before school starts.

wtf do these kids need laptops for?

WTF do AT memebers need laptops for?

for internet usage in hot passionate positions that a desktop could only dream of.

lol

What a bitter old wench to get a kids lemondade stand shutdown. I bet she has a really fun, productive life. When not harrassing small children her other hobbies include stepping on insects, stunning dogs with cattle prods and poisoning her bird baths.

There was a story just like this last year in Sarasota, FL I believe it was that made national news. The MJ Morning Show based out of Tampa, FL sent two interns down with bullhorns to irritate the other old bag who did this. It was pretty funny. It's probably still archived on their website.

"OMG! They're blocking my walkway! I have to walk across the lawn for 3 feet to go around!!!! CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT! AHHHHHH!"

I remember that. I guess we should be glad she did not try and jail them for tresspassing, she should be caned for being such a douchebag though.

i think what the neighbor did was fine..i personally wouldn't want a lemonade stand near my house .. it's not that pleasant to have all these random ass people gathering arround

No one's asked this question yet?

How do they make over $100 a day on $0.25 a cup?
They have to sell over 400 cups of lemonade :Q

i would agree, but only if they were in front of MY house. If they were next door or across the street, more power to them and their endeavor.

The word of mouth probably spread quickly through their neighborhood. I know that if I lived in that area, and heard about what happened, I'd go buy some lemonade just to try to piss the old wench off even more.

That and the fact that I admire what these girls are doing, instead of expecting Mom and Dad to pay for it.

Finally, there were probably getting $1-3 per cup instead of 25-cents.
