Girlfriend paid $6000 for a puppy

Even though the little woman didn't pay 6 grand, it wouldn't be a bad investment at all for someone who worked with good dogs.
A champion bloodline bull will fetch $1,000,000. A gram of his semen will fetch upwards of $25,000.
A whitetail buck of exceptional quality? $250,000 easy. $500,000 is not out of line.
Last year, I watched someone pay, and this is no shyt, $700 for 6 CHICKEN hatching eggs. Granted they were a new breed to the states, but this year they are $30 a dozen.
Rare and purebred animals are an incredible commodity. In the right footing, a guy can make a hell of a bunch of money.

i want a puppy. 🙁 me and my gf are looking for a welsch corgi. but that puppy is pretty cute. dont' know if its worth $1000 for it though...

i read through it. she said it was $6k but corrected it to $1k. every trendy chick needs a yappy dog these days, preferably in a stupid little carrying bag a la Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde. yippy skippy.

That would require her to provide a lot of oral to even get close to making it better. Also what type of job do you or her have to shell out six grand on a damn dog? They hiring?
