girl soccer player dragged by hair and beaten

McCullough is being charged with simple assault, according to the incident report from the Sheriff’s Office.

good

I came to the thread assuming something... assumption is correct... That is grounds for expulsion, if not at least banning from school sports for the rest of her career...

She didn't even touch her on that last fall. She tripped on her own, looked behind and saw the girl who just happened to be right behind her, and went crazy.

Doesn't even really matter if there was contact. There's incidental contact in all sports.
That bitch just went mortal kombat on the other girl.

talk about an over reaction, holy crap, even if the other girl did clip her FFS that shit happenes all the time.

someone needs some anger management,

i actually came in this thinking you were gonna repost the vid from a few years ago of womens soccer players getting in fights

Yep.

I watched a game once where one kid's (U-18 club league) knees were taken out by an absurd tackle, and then the perp that took him out lined up and essentially took a PK on his face. That fucker went to jail.

The video jumps a frame or two right at the moment where the girl might made contact, but it looks like she tripped over her own feet to me.

I don't know about that... can't really see clearly. If she did trip her by kicking her backstride, that's terrible sportsmanship against someone who clearly beat you up the field. Well, obviously bad sportsmanship all around.

Loved the ref holding up the red card at the end.

As added lulz, I really enjoyed this part of the story;
The attack was only stopped when spectators and a referee ran up and pulled the two apart.

As the attack happened about 15-20ft away from the nearest person, I can see why it was still going on until it was intervened.

I captured and went through frame by frame.

I think her right heel clips the right knee of #4, who's right behind her and trying to cut left. Just coincidence of strides and incidental contact.

Unfortunately the next frame appears after the moment of contact. Or I just can't make out the details well enough.

First of all, I guess we can all agree that #15 needs to go to some anger management class.

Now, the first time I went over the frames carefully I saw the same thing (#4's right knee accidentally hit #15's right heel), but the reason I was convinced that there was no contact was from the body language of #4.

She started chasing, she got beat, and she gave up and slowed down, and then seems to be surprised after #15 went down (not at contact time). That doesn't look to me as the correct body language if there was contact, incidental or otherwise.

When I was younger I played a lot of street hockey. One game I stripped the puck from a Defenseman and broke in on the goal alone, and the douchebag swiped my skates out from under me and sent me sliding along the concrete. I ended up a bloody mess.

What the video shows is what I WANTED to do to the guy.

Kids suck these days...

I don't know - there seemed to be two other girls from that team nearby that didn't really seem to do anything which I thought was suprising. For better or worse if that had happened to anyone on the teams I played on the incident would have been much bigger

I hope 15 gets criminal charges, as well as booted from all school sports forever.

But let's face it, that's where this country is going. The internet equivalent happens here on a daily (hourly?) basis.
