Well I don't know if I'd go that far but I'm absolutely certain that the kids here in Virginia are no where near being ready to vote a female in as homecoming king.
Hee, from what I've heard of Virginian politics, I'd be surprised if they'd vote for a female in anything.

 
The mayor of Virginia Beach (my city of residence) is a woman. Lots of state senate seats are held by women, as are many city government positions. We are not discriminatory of women here, no more than any other state anyways.
