Girl I know joins the Navy

She's kinda a know-it-all brat and we were all a little bemused by the fact that she'd be getting a harsh dose of reality.

Not only does she get the job she wanted, but she is being stationed in freaking Greece.

It's an example of like reverse karma or something.

What's so terrible about getting the job that you want and living in Greece? Sounds like a dream come true!

I think that was the point.
1. Spoiled kid thinks she's going to get everything she wants in the Navy
2. Friends eagerly await her getting hit on the head with reality
3. Spoiled kid gets everything she wants in the Navy
4. Friends go "DOH!"

Maybe she has a light complexion and will be screwed over by the constant warm and sunny weather? 😕

who ever said she was spoiled, she might have worked really hard to get to that position.

So do we put a check in the "getting a harsh dose of reality" column for you?

She's only been in a few months.

1) Was it the job she wanted.

2) Is she qualified for the positioni

3) Did she want the posting.

What is the point of the thread - you made it souind as if she expected the moon; but you do not indicatae if that is what she expected and received.
