in regards to that other thread people have said that a guy is usually gay if he has more girl friends then guy friends. what about most of your friends being guys but your closests friends are girls? I have lots of guy friends that I hang out with a lot and a few girls too but not too many. It seems though that all my closest friends are girls though. It's fun hangin out w/ guys cause you can check out hot chicks w/ them and all that kinda stuff. But w/ girls I can actually tell them my feelings and not have them go "well that's gay" or "quit bein a wuss". With most all of my girl friends I can be myself but w/ guys I gotta kinda be fake and make sure i'm always acting "manly". Am I the only one like this or are there other people here like me?

Just come out of the closet already!!!! j/k :p

My best friend is a girl, but then again, she's a lesbian - so I don't think I count ;)

sounds like your friends are idiots if they can't appreciate you for who you are.

Sounds like you're an asshole for jumping to conclusions ;) But then again, you happen to do that a lot.

Girls are more sensitive than guys. That is how it is. I feel much more comfortable talking to girls about very personal issues than I do most of my guy friends, save a select few.

Now, to test if you are gay. Would you rather sleep with Brad Pitt or Roseanne Bar? For a guy that is completely heterosexual, even the most homely woman is FAR more interesting than a man could ever be.

I agree. I have many buddies that I can hang out with, but when it comes down to it, my best friend has always been female. Before the theory of a guy just wanting to be her friend to get in her pants starts up, this woman is like a sister to me. I can tell her things that I would never tell my guy friends, and she has told me many things that I know she hasn't shared with anyone else.

Having female friends doesn't mean you're gay, and if people say that, they are just idiots.

eh, my most of my female friends are "close friends." having a close female friend you can talk with about things like you mentioned is great. like you said, most guy friends won't take you seriously. talking to your parents about it is pretty embarassing. but having someone close to talk to is nice sometimes.

Well, for example, I've been in love w/ my ex for at least a year now and I keep getting back together w/ her then breaking up, etc. Anyway I'm having a hard time getting over her and I can talk to my friends that are girls and it's nice. My guy friends are just like "quit bein a pussy and get over her already". It kinda makes me mad.... o well.

I know exactly what you're saying. I have fewer female friends than male friends, and yet i find it a lot easier to talk to the females than to males. I don't really act fake with the guys though, i just don't tell them as much as i tell the girls.

In this situation your guy friends are right.

true.... but the responce from one of my female friends was "you are too good for her anyway and deserve a lot better". see why I'd rather talk to girls about this kinda stuff than guys?

So you would rather have someone fill your ego by stating bs then being told the truth? Of course a girl is going to tell you some bs response like that, what else do you think they would say?

well it's not really bs since this girl was/is bad news. I don't know how I fell in love with her to begin with but i don't want this to turn into YAGT so i'm gonna try to keep on topic here...
