anyways..shouldn't the generator have a chk so no obscene words accidently gets typed in.

You would think some type of check would be in the system, but on the flip side, why spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to create code and error management for something that may occur once in 50 million or more times?

Because poeple are greedy and they are gonna loose alot of $$ on this.

i bet that doll is going to be worth a fortune.

On another note, the parents are probably going to sue for all of the "emotional damages" the little girl had to endure. Poor girl...

theres loads of things like this...u can usually rely on that source of all crap news "THE SUN" (a uk newspaper) to have it as front page news while important stuff like tsunami's and wars in the middle pages in a column down the right hand side of a double page spread of Jordan.

the best was a tigger or whinnie the pooh that said fVck you!

It'd take like... 15 seconds for any first year CS student to write a random string generator. It'd take 3-4 minutes to make one that checks against a bad words list (most of that is compiling the list). It'd take a whole 10 minutes to write one that checks against a bad words list AND against a list of previously generated strings to create a unique S/N.

I could write one in java, but I'm a lazy prick right now, and won't. But if the toy company is willing to pay me hundreds or thousands of dollars for my ten minutes, then I'm up for it.

LOL! I wonder how much money that is worth? Would a judge actually give them a settlement for that?
