At least, it looks like a couple of people came to her aid. Just thinking about something like that happening here in the states reminds me about the guy who got hit by a car and people did nothing but walk on by not bothering to help.

Ran to her aid at that, very impressive.

Makes you wonder why you'd be that attached to a phone not to notice the impending stairs. At this rate someone is going to walk off a cliff.

These are the same dumbfucks I see on my daily commute plowing their suvs into the back of cars in front of them because they are preoccupied with their fucking phones.

I remember some girl walked into an open manhole in Baltimore a few years back, crews hadn't coned, taped, signed it off. If you can walk into an open hole, an orange cone won't stop you is the way I look at it.

reminds me of

I assume she sued and lived happily ever after, unless she died that is.

And just think, there are assholes on the highway that "think" that they can text and drive without being distracted. Sure thing......🙄

Hard to tell. On the one hand, it's Canada, so there's less of a direct jump to "Sue!" than there is in the States. On the other hand, it's a government building, so she knows that the place has money?

Ontario is pretty broke and there is video evidence she fell because she was not paying attention to the floor.

Yea, bright color jutting out from the ground is about the same as dark hole.... 🙄
