Ginger Ale or Root Beer?

Good ole' Mountain Dew should take the prize as an unannounced contender, if the theme is alchoholic beverage-inspired soda drinks. 😀

Root beer, but you can successfully drink Ginger Ale as a mixer with alcohol.

Ah, but you can successfully make an ice cream float with Root Beer.

And root beer isn't half bad with Rum. Root Beer wins.

I made up that last one.

Ginger beer is damn gingery. I always say I shouldn't buy again after half a bottle, but I always miss it once the bottle is empty. Evil ginger beer!

Real Ginger ale > Ginger Beer > Root beer > generic ginger ale. If you've ever had real ginger ale though, you'd think differently. My dad buys some for his bar that is like $4 a bottle, made with real ginger, and tastes nothing like the crap you get in store.. The store bought crap doesn't have real ginger in it.

As a soda it's a toss up. As a mixed drink base, ginger ale all the way. And ginger beer (non-alcoholic) wins over both of them.

ROOT BEER

Have you ever had real root beer? I'm not talking about that Barq's crap.
