Hello all.

Recently i've started to use gimp and trying to play around with it.

I'm wondering if there is an option for "save for web", like the one in adobe photoshop.
If i remember it correctly, "save for web" will save the image file at lower details and higher compression, thus making the filesize smaller, no?

If there's no "save for web", what can i do to make the image size smaller?

Thanks.

"Save for web" lets you adjust formats and various parameters to arrive at your ideal quality to size ratio. The Gimp has various quality options, depending on the format, when you save a file. Not quite the same though, and as far as I know, Gimp doesn't have something like Photoshop's "save for web."
