Details? I have the funds. I REALLY want a white one, but those seem to be the most rare.

Mine is an '11, manual, Recaros, moon roof, alcantera wheel and shifter. The only option it didn't come with is the wood inserts. Has around 25,000+ miles, new tires, tinted windows and moon roof, headers and hi-flow cats, pulley, intake, tune all done by a well regarded LSx tuner.
 
I own a 2009 G8 GXP and have two kids (13 and 9) along with an infant...the backseat room in this car is awesome. I have also been able to directly compare it to a 2009 CTS-V sedan that a family friend owns.

For space, the G8 wins, hands down...if you can't afford the GXP...look at the GT. I have put about 10K miles on my GXP and really enjoy the car's performance. I have a 7 year, 100K full warranty on mine, so I am limiting my modding to a CAI for now.

The CTS-V is a really kick-ass execution and fun to drive. I drove the car stock, and again after the owner modded it...makes around 625 rwhp now...but is very civilized. There are a few downsides, including smaller (but functional) rear seat space and price of wear items (brakes, tires, maintenance, etc.) Granted, it isn't a Corolla...so that is to be expected 😉 The owner of the CTS-V bought it new (about 4 years ago) and has around 42K miles on it with no major failures or complaints. What is concerning him now is being modded with coming close to end of powertrain warranty. As long as they is some warranty on it, shouldn't be a problem to own the CTS-V.

I forgot to add: The 2014 Chevy SS. It appears to be functionally identical to the G8 GXP. Specs just released indicate an LS3, 6 speed auto, same Brembo brakes, etc. What Chevy DID update is the complete interior with a lot of the high-tech gadgets, including paddle shifters, HUD, Touch screen info-tainment system, electronic parking brake, etc. Only real unknown is what the price will be later this year...I would keep it on your radar as a viable alternative, if the price stays reasonable.

The SS is on my radaar, but after seeing preliminary pricing, i'll pass.

2010 pricing baffles my mind, hell, CTS-V pricing is baffling to me overall. Why people pay these prices is beyond me.
 
Probably a base Wrangler. I'm just too cheap to buy anything that I really want. Wouldn't mind a wrangler so why not.

buy a lifted 80s toyota or a samurai and get yourself a second real car. Fast fun cars are so cheap these days why relagate yourself to to such a torcherous outcome!

I already built one, don't care to again. Don't want anything older that I have to fix, been there and done that too. I NEED 4 useable seats and yet still fun so a "toy" car is out of the question. Nothing out there strikes my fancy and what I do actually like, I'm not willing to pay for.

I don't need a 2nd real car, I have a work truck I can use if I need to. I need a 2nd car that I can enjoy with the kids on my days off.
