But this is only 11Mbps.

With current technology for USB 1.0/1.1, there is no way for you to achieve anywhere above 11Mbps. For 45 Mbps, you definitely need USB 2.0

802.11b only goes up to 11 Mbps anyway, so it doesn't matter in this case.

I think my gigafast usb /b adapter crapped out on me. It worked fine for over a yr as a test unit. Still need to double check to be sure but be aware.
