On the GA-K8NXP-SLi board, a "DPS Daughterboard" is included in the purchase - could someone explain what this is?

It's a three phase powery thingy. (Forgot the term) It makes the power cleaner. (Gigabyte boards with the DPS have 6 phases compared to other motherboard's three phases.)

Its just a addon card thingy that provides better/improves the cpu voltage regulation.

Does nothing you need, just looks cool, makes you think your getting more, and adds cost. W00T!!

Yeah, but for an extra $10 from the GA-K8N-SLI board, the GA-K8NXP-SLI board comes with everything the GA-K8N-SLI has, but also a wireless card and that DPS board. And it comes in a nice shiny box as well :p.
