Gigabyte x1900xt

Thinking about buying this

for about £260 ($478 US according to google) which is a good price in anyone's money. Why is it cheaper than Sapphire and the rest? Do Gigabyte make an inferior video card?

Gigabyte is quality company, infact, most companies provide equal reference based cards, diff sticker

some have lower support though

All x1900xt's are exactly the same specs, unless otherwise noted.

Yea but some have better memory etc, and therefore overclocking ability. Has anyone had experience with this card or any recent Gigabyte/ATI card?

As far as I know, all X1900XT's came/come with 1.1ns memory.

Nah, some xt's come with 1.2ns

Link? (besides the reference samples, which I KNOW came with 1.2ns). Oh and the link MUST say that the person removed the HSF from X1900XT and actually saw the 1.2ns modules. I read a review recently there the author blithly said it had 1.2ns modules but I sincerly doubt he ever took the HSF off and actually looked.

Gigabyte makes some very nice video cards. :thumbsup:
