Gigabyte Video Problem

Bugg27

I just installed the VISIONTEK XTASY 9200 SE video card powered by Ati and has been experiencing computer lock ups where the screen goes blank, which then requires a restart. I have the GA-7VAXP
board from Gigabyte. Sometimes before it crashes I get a VPN recovery message. Does anyone have any suggestions or should I just remove the card and go back to my old video card. Any help would be appreciated.

I only went to the web and downloaded the newest driver for the card, fix my resolution and made sure I had my monitor running at the fastest refresh rate. Do you have any other tweeks to suggest? On of the tech support said it could be that the card is not getting enough voltage. Is that possible and how can I check?

Thanks..

Update on my GA-7VAX....heh I disabled 2 USB controllers that were sharing IRQ 10 with my graphics card and the problem is solved! Why didn't I think of that earlier 🙁
