If it's $599 it'll be sold out in about 2 minutes flat. I wonder if Newegg will stick to MSRP the day it's released or if they'll jack up the price by $100.00
$599 and I'm in for one. $699 and I'll hold off for non-reference cards to come out.
Where have you been? Now I know a new card is comming.
Doubt it - even a single 6970 already has that.I thought it was going to have a 6 pin and a 8 pin ?
I'm glad it has a pair of 8 pin's. Better overclocking as soon as you add a Artctic cooling heatsink
When is release date?

Says pci express 2.1 on the box. Would they be able to have that if it's truly not compliant?
Tomorrow they will be available for purchase.
Going to be a paper launch IMO

I'm expecting newegg to have 100s and it will be your usual type launch of a flagship card. Buy soon and you get one, wait and you'll get them week by week.
I am considering getting two of these and calling it done. I want to hear heat/noise, if it's comparable to what I have no or by some miracle less. I am going to go with two of these monsters.
Need to hear the noise info and see a good review confirming amazing scaling in quadfire.
Overclockers are pretty big in the UK market.
