Hi All,

Considering picking up one of these for $1000 AUD. Any opinions? Is it a worthwhile longer term investment?

Worth the extra cost over just a 1080 or less?

I will be upgrading from a ASUS GeForce GTX 680 DirectCU II GPU 2GB, so hopefully i'll be thoroughly impressed.

Cheers

I think the 1080ti is worth the cost over a 1080 for the long term. The only thing I would say is look out for EVGA's Hybrid 1080ti, I have seen them recently listed for only $20-$30 more than air cooled cards. A hybrid card should easily hold 1950MHz while being relatively silent, if your case has room for the AIO radiator and the price difference is marginal then I would go with a hybrid cooled card.
