I've been using the default Intel Core i7-860(2.8GHz) clocked chip. Has anyone had trouble using the auto-clocking offered by the Gigabyte smart6 utility? It seems that the utility has trouble loading at startup when I've tried it out and I want to make sure nothing will mess with this combo. I am currently running it with a 5870 XfX and really question why I would want to take any chances while things are running so smoothly. But, you know how it goes....
