Hi all,

I have been running my GA-P35-DS3L at 450MHz bus for a year and 500MHz for about 3 months since I added on some new RAM.

Last night I was playing Lord of the Rings Online with AA enabled and my system rebooted itself (known problem with ATI but I was trying out new drivers). Anyway, after the reboot my system came back up and showed it was set to 333MHz bus speed. I went into the BIOS and it was showing as 500MHz in the BIOS! I shut down completely and cold booted and it still came up 333MHz! So I cleared CMOS using the jumper on the mobo, but still it won't allow me to set the bus speed, it keeps going to 333MHz! I tried flashing from BIOS f9 back to f8 and same result!!

Tonight I will try pulling the battery on the mobo and see if that helps but if not I am baffled! Any ideas? Has anyone seen anything similar with this mobo?

Got it fixed! I had to unplug the power supply from the wall, unplug it from the motherboard, take out the motherboard battery then put it back in and plug everything in and now it will let me set the bus speed!

Very strange. Something was definitely out of whack due to the reboot/crash!!

I think within the last month we've gotten about four posts on this forum about The P35-DS3L doing this. Mine even did it twice within this period. Odd...
