Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H: Will this boot from NTFS USB Stick?

Just a quick question:

It seems like some UEFI boards cannot boot from USB drives with NTFS. How can I tell if this will work with mine?

Since I lack a DVD drive as of right now, I have to go to a friend's place to make a bootable Windows USB stick, and I don't want to waste time using the wrong file system.

Thanks.

You should be able to as I was when I did my Win8 install. My stick was formatted NTFS and was able to boot fine

Now if you try to load something from the EFI shell then that will not work and would need to be FAT

I used rufus to make my win8 usb key

Thanks.

What is the procedure for obtaining a Win8.1 full install ISO? Can I just image the OEM disc I have, or is there a place I can download one using the key I bought?

I do not want to tie the key with the computer I download the file with, as it will be used on a different computer.
