GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P vs. ASUS Maximus II Formula

I'm almost decided on getting the Gigabyte board, but I keep on coming back to the Maximus II. At twice the price is it really that much better than the UD3P?
 
No... Go with Gigabyte. That's the same board I got and I don't have any complaints. It overclocks well and does everything I need it to do.
 
Add-in sound card? An additional SATA cable? I would say maybe it has better heatsinks, but there are lots of posts on the egg about NB overheating. If you can't find a reason why you need the Asus, I'd go with the Gigabyte board. Like ericlp, I'm very happy with my UD3P.
