Gigabyte GA-8PE667 Ultra memory?

When buying the GA-8PE667 Ultra I read about some people having trouble using two sticks of ram. Has this problem been fixed in a recent BIOS upgrade?

I'm running this board with two sticks of Corsair 3200 XMS Plat LL memory and running great - no problems with the speed.

I see you are running the Ultra 2, I wonder if the same holds true for the Ultra. Memory prices are SO low, that I'm tempted to grab another 512mb. If its not going to work, I'm not going to get it because I don't have any other boxes that use DDR ram..

I tried unsuccessfully to rn with 2 512 MB sticks of XMS3500.

1 stick was fine.

You should be able to run with 2 256MB sticks though.
