I just put together the same system except for the video card and hard drives. It was my first build also and I couldn't be happier. Motherboard set up was easy and everything worked great, not one problem. There is no doubt in my mind that you will be just as happy. I don't know what you mean by confirming the ram though, I'm using the same ram which I purchased from Googlegear and its running perfect.

Hi Lawrence

Thanks alot for the info. I think they didn't want to confirm the compatibility of the Kingston ram because they haven't released anything on their website as far as testing. I know they say it's 1066 supported but I just wanted to make sure. Are you using the same processor too? Thanks again!

You will not have any issues running the Kingston memory on this board. I am running it at 156fsb currently.

I have the same board, only thing is the processor I have is a 2.4 with a 400 FSB and Samsung PC1066 ram. Have no problems, but in the BIOS it says the processor is locked, but I have no real problems overclocking it. Have it running stable at 2.64. anything over and Win XP freaks, Linux is fine, so it is just windows. Any thoughts to my little problem?

Conscript,

I have been purchasing from a local Kingston distributor although some did come from Newegg.
