Hey everyone, I was just wondering if a

"Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Processor (Northwood) 2.4GHz, 533MHz FSB, Socket 478 Retail w/Fan and Heatsink, 512KB Cache"

would be compatible with the Gigabyte GA-8IEXP motherboard

"GIGABYTE GA-8IEXP INTEL 845E ULTRA ATA133 ATX FORM FACTOR 1xAGP(4X)/6xPCI/1xCNR/ 3xDDR W/RAID, LAN, USB 2.0, IEEE 1394 & CT5880 AUDIO Detail Specs(CPU TYPE:INTEL PENTIUM 4 (533Mhz) - 478PIN)"

Are these two components compatible with one another? Would I still get the added features of northwood with this combination? If not, would I need to get a motherboard with northwood? If this is the case, could anyone recommend a good one for me? I hope someone can help me out. Let me know, thanks.

Yes.
Yes.
They'll work great together.
I'd recommend this one (I'm using one!).
Hopefully I've helped you out!
Your welcome!

The Gigabyte GA-8IEXP is a great board. I'm running a P4 2.26B @ 2721Mhz with 1.6V. FSB is at 160 (640). Runs very cool. I have Corsair Memory and a Enermax 431W PS.

Made it to 2890 with 1.65V. Don't know if it's stable though.
