Gigabyte GA-7vrx CPU fan question.

I am powering all my fans by a sunbeam rheobus, but my system wont boot when I dont have a 3 pin fan plugged into the CPU FAN slot on the board. Anyone know a way around this? I want to be able to control the speed of my CPU fan via the rheobus.

You can't power that fan off the board. You will need to pull the yellow from the 3 pin port and plug that into the far left pin on the board. You can get the connector and pin from Radioshack. Plug the fan power straight into a power point from the power supply.

Missread the question sorry. In the F12 bios update there is a place to turn off the monitoring for the fans. That should do it.
