any suggestions are appreciated...newbie of course. My clock ratio is defaulted to auto but I can set it 5x to >=12.5x.
I can set system bus to 133 or should i leave it at default 100?

Can set agp voltage from 1.5 to 1.8 and ddr 2.5 to 2.8, both are defaulted to min. GF2 MX and 512 PC2100 crucial

vcore voltage to +5% to 10%. it defaults to normal

I can set the host clock up to 161MHz.

Where should I start. I have been reading here and overclockers but thought i would ask so i don't make any mistakes.

I haven't used that board before, but i would start with raising the host clock or fsb. start around 140-145 and do some tests for stability and check out your temps. When you hit a stability problem increase the voltage and try again. You may need to increase the memory voltage also to gain stability while being overclocked. good luck.

well, i'm assuming your CPU is locked cuz you dont know where to start with overclocking--so that limits your options. i would raise your FSB and see where your limits lie, just like soulm4tter said.

Thanks for the pointing me the right way. While I was gone I flipped on the switch to set the system bus to 133, manually increased the bus speed to 156 and I have the processer overclocked at 1705. Going to try some tests to see how it will work out for me.

Oh if anyone has ever used easy tune from Gigabyte, its a small program that you can change the clock fequency from windows. Am I wasting my time using this program or is there a better one that you can use.

Here's to learning and having fun. Thanks again and in advance for the help.
