If you have a power fan connect to that header, if you install a NB fan plug it into the NB fan connector. You do need a NB fan if you want to O/C. Even if you don't O/C the thing is cooking hot. Just mount a 40mm fan to the top of the stock heatsink, using screws and it will be fine. There is no firewire on the MB if you need it use a PCI FW card.

^^what he said. I use a thermalright HR-05 aftermarket NB heatsink. Works great without a fan.

I shoved a PCI slot 80mm fan in between my video card and the northbridge, it's happier now. Plus the NB HSF has AS5...
I always use my fans on full speed, I don't trust motherboard speed controls.
