Just a rant here:
First of all, I don't understand why mobo makers are still putting the jet engine on the northbridge... OK, moving on...
I purchased the 8IEXP back in September and the northbridge fan died last week. Sent an email to Gigabyte about the issue and it takes them a whole week to reply. And they replied 2 in a row. The first one is the standard RMA email asking me to provide things like serial numbers. The second one is enclosed below:
When I had problems with the Epox fan, or Antec missing part, I didn't have to send shipping both ways. I am going to ask Gigabyte if I can fax the information over, then have them send it over right away.
I don't think I am a picky customer, but I know I'll think twice before I purchase any Gigabyte products in the future.

Hello,
did you just want to replace the fan?, if so just send us a self
addressed stamped envelope along with the request and send us
proof of purchase too!
