Hey,

well I just build a computer based on gigabyte 7vrxp.

1- If I can set the shutdown temp in bios, It is a 2.0 revision , right?

2- The POST screen goes so fast, I can't read anything on it. However, I have a detecting screen with a rotating "|" right after... I neversaw screen like this before, I wonder what it does... looks like it has a link with the promise raid controler.. can anybody tell me what it is?

3- Should I install ALL 4 in 1 , because the IDE controller ain't from via, right? should I uncheck something?

thank you very much

1 - Yes I believe so, I have a GA7VRXP sitting out right behind me. Another obvious way to tell is if it says 2.0 right under GA-7VRXP between the NB and DIMM slots.
2 - The \ | / -- that you see is it looking for a RAID setup, I forget how to disable it, if you can, there is nothing wrong with it though, its just what it does.
3 - Honestly I forget, I didnt load it....I dont think. Im not using that mb anymore, or atleast at this point anyway so I cant help you much with that question. Sorry.

I have this board for just few weeks and I don't have problems so far. You can disable the RAID drive check from the BIOS. I have loaded the VIA 4in! driver and it solved some minor problems with my USB Wheelmouse. Your IDE controller IDE1 and IDE2 is VIA. IDE3 and IDE4 is Promise.
