:|Have had this board for about a month now and would like to report thr following . The onboard Raid controller (Promise) will corrupt and present you with a BSOD in win 2k. There are many forums now supporting this and Gigabyte will simply not recognize or confirm that there is a definate proble. This happens with a specific number of vid cards (mostly Nvidia) and when the onboard controller is used as either an ATA100 controller or in a raid set up. My resolve was purchasing a PCI Promise card (Raid). NO corruption issues whatsoever. This has been a reported fix by 100% of the individuals who have been forced to do the same because of the onboard controller issues. AGAIN GIGABYTE WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS AS A REAL ISSUE WITH THIS BOARD AND WILL NOT ISSUE A BIOS FIX FOR IT. mY TOTAL CASH OUTLAY FOR THIS BOARD IS NOW AT $420 CDN. What a shame Gigabyte, Shame on you. NEVER NEVER AGAIN GIGABYTE.
