Its our 1 year in a few weeks, and she couldnt wait to surprise me. So she bursts in with a $500 ring (since I already have bracelets, chains, watches) so she figured its the only thing I dont have. I simply loved it. Its white gold, with diamonds on the side. Its a very nice gift.

She showed me so early since she wanted to see if it fit me, and it didnt.

However; I need gift ideas. Up to like $200 (i'm broke). She's a beautiful girl and I want to get her something nice.

Give me some ideas.

Go to antique shops, and see if something unique jumps out at you. It doesn't have to be jewelry. Keep your eyes, and your mind open, you should be able to find something special.

From the outside looking in, the only way that you can reciprocate is to show her an awesome get-a-way weekend and tell her that you love her.

WTf you've only been with each other a year and are already buying each other $500 gifts??? Why don't people save that for marriage or very long relationships. 1yr is nothing.
 
srsly, I know people back in high school who have been dating for 4 years...and they haven't been doing expensive shit like this...
 
Man, that ain't no friendship ring. I think that girl just asked the OP to marry her. The only thing the OP can do is buy a 5K ring, get on his knees and ask her to marry him. Or get the fuck out before it's too late.
