Gift for girlfriend's college graduation?

How about a couple of high quality frames.

One for a picture of her & you, or her & her parents, etc, on her graduation day with the date engraved on the front. Of course, this assumes that she is taking part in a graduation ceremony. You weren't clear on that.

The other would be a high quality frame for her diploma.

Get her fireworks! Make sure they are bigger than whatever's legal in your state. If you live in a repressive state like me (Illinois), then anything bigger than "snakes" is illegal, so regular firecrackers are fine, if you live in a more "free" state, then load up on some m80s.

My GF just graduated from Harvard GSE. I got her a box of Godiva chocolates + a geometric diamond-shaped sterliing silver necklace for $220~

She's very happy.

Oooh ...

Another idea, buy her some quality wine. Don't spend $50 a bottle, instead, go to a nice wine store where they have somebody why knows his stuff and have him recommend a bunch of good wines in the $10 price range, pick a few up .... It helps if you know what styles she likes ....

Since you have a few weeks, I suggest you make a scrapbook or photo album of her time at the school. Get maybe articles from the school paper, photos, maybe ask her friends/family to contribute with messages and special pictures. The supplies would probably be less then 20 bucks, but would be a lot of work.

I get fireworks in Osco, Illinois every July. 😉 Look it up on a map.

OP: Get her a nice package at a day spa. She'll love it.

To everyone who already gave a smartass reply, grow up. Its obvious that the first thing that comes to your minds is sexual, because you aren't getting any. I don't need a special occasion to get what I want.

You're the man now dawg!

I have a feeling that at least half of the smartass replys are just people trying to keep themselves amused at work.

Take her on a romantic roadtrip to a beach or in the mountains and have a picnic and wine or something like that. Though depending on what you drive, the gas may cost more than $20...

This +1
It is what I'd do probably. Although knowing my girl friend it's also what she'd like.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

On a serious note, for every childish answer in the thread, its amazing how unoriginal you really are, she already has all the toys she needs and has been getting it in every which way imaginable.

A nice leather portfolio for interviews. Maybe a GPS. Clothes?

this is a decent one. The roadtrip/picnic idea is also a good one, as was teh tennisracket/golf/club/whatever idea.
