Anyone that buys Super Mario Galaxy in-store at Toys R Us gets a free $25 gift card for a future purchase. I can't imagine that any other store, B&M or online, is possibly going to beat a virtually half-price offer on one of the best Wii games, yet.

With the ridiculous amount of purchase-worthy game titles coming out this season I'm sure that $25 will get put to good use. Or, you could use it to buy a Christmas gift for a young family member, but that's crazy talk.

i dunno if you guys are going to be getting the same issue, but the toys r us by me said they arent putting it out on the the shelves until 5 pm

i think i saw something about that in the ad somewhere guaranteed after 5pm

This game is incredible. I was hoping to wait until Black Friday to get it and play my early "backup" until then, but now I'm on the phone calling TRU to find out when they will be putting the game out. It was actually released yesterday, though everyone always assumes that Nintendo titles are Tuesday releases like everyone else.

i do not know if they are gonna give you a raincheck if they are out of stock when you go

i wonder what the trade in value of this game is at gamestop

You're able to PM this deal to Best Buy as well. TRU was OOS when I checked, went to BB, and PM'd the deal. YMMV, as the TRU near me was OOS.

Tried to get it on Tuesday but they were all gone. I stopped by a different Toys R Us today expecting the same, but was surprised to found they had 5-6 copies. I asked if I could purchase more than one and they said sure, but you only get one $25 gift card.

Walked away with one to tuck under the Xmas tree...

yep. I got the info from fw a few days ago. I walked in and got super mario galaxy, the gift card and guitar hero for the 360. I laid out all my coupons, ads and reward certs down and the lady asked me if i just wanted it free.

It all cost 109 bucks.
