I guess not.

Quick google sounds like they have been having these issues for awhile now, they even got raided back in 2009 for something similar and keep doing this.

Reason for raids

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibson_Guitar_Corporation

Henry Juszkiewicz, the corporate CEO, has made several donations to pro-Republican institutions in his career. He was a donor to the Consumer Electronics Association, which has, in the past, made donations to Republican causes and candidates.[28]

Henry and pro-Gibson bloggers further feel that the targeting is discriminate on the fact that C. F. Martin & Company, a rival guitar corporation, uses similar woods to the ones seized in the raid, but they are not under any investigation.[29][30]

The CEO of CF Martin, Chris Martin IV, has made assorted donations to Democratic or leftist institutions over the years, notably to the Democratic Party of Pennsylvania.

If you bothered to research the issue you will find out that after Gibson was raided two years ago NO charges have been brought against them. You'll also find out that Gibson has sued the DOJ to get back their property that was seized two years ago. That suit has been habitually postponed by the DOJ's stalling tactics. The DOJ is on a wild goose chase here and know that they've been caught. In order to keep from admitting that Gibson has not done anything wrong they stoop to stalling and not responding to the courts and Gibson's lawyers requests for evidence that the DOJ supposedly has.

This is nothing but another case in which the DOJ and other government agency running a muck and terrorizing a law abiding corporation and putting more Americans out of work!

Innocent until PROVEN guilty!!!

How many Constitutional violations are people going to put up with before doing something about it? Pro tip... Voting for the same assholes year after year isn't going to make things change. Change it now before guns need to be involved...

the same assholes year after year are the only option in this 2-party system. go ahead and vote for someone legitimately different and not corrupt - jesse ventura found it impossible to accomplish anything without the consent of the same old assholes.

All it takes is people standing up and doing the right thing. Vote for someone with principle, not the best story teller. Ron Paul's voting record speaks for itself. You know what you're getting with Paul. Doing the right thing may not feel good right now, but it'll allow our country to thrive, and be better for everyone long into the future. Fixing our disaster of a country's gonna hurt, but after the pain, we'll be stronger, and healthier. Someone told me a trite saying once, but I love it. The only free cheese is in the trap....

Changing the president doesn't stop congress from passing dershit laws or stopping some federal asshole with authority from doing this shit without asking his boss for permission. It doesn't stop some dumbass judge from signing the search warrant while ignoring the fact that US Customs received, reviewed, and APPROVED all the documents and wood, including reviewing the Lacey Act. It doesn't stop armed swat members from bursting through your business's front door like they did at Gibson. ARMED SWAT TEAM.

Changing a president doesn't stop that shit one bit.

Newbian it's not conspiracy talk. It's really, literally, what's happening, true down to the last detail.

No it doesn't. President is only the start. The president sets the tone, but it takes congress to make real change. Once people get a clue as to what freedom feels like, congress will start getting principled members, instead of corporate shills, and liars that promise things they have no intention of delivering on.

People knew what "freedom felt like" and they voted these tards in anyway.

If we could suddenly and instantly change everyone in congress right now, I highly doubt anything would change, even in time.

I'd seriously vote for him if he weren't pushing 80. We went through that with Reagan - falling asleep in staff meetings and so forth.

I don't think people do know what freedom feels like. It's already becoming a forgotten memory. The government is snatching things away on the fringes, while claiming it protects us from the boogieman, or "for the kids". As long as it's on the fringes, and doesn't interrupt NASCAR nobody will say anything. It'll get to the point where people start noticing, and it'll be too late to do anything about it.

Meh, that's a cop out imo. One should vote for the person they think's best for the job. Not the one you think will get elected, or the lesser of 2 evils. If enough people stand up and say the status quo isn't good enough, people will start to notice, and real change can be made. There's no way in hell Paul will get elected in MD, but I'm voting for him anyway. The only other option is not vote at all. I've been apathetic, and un-American for too long. It's time to do something.

The Repubs, and Dems are the same party. It doesn't matter who's in office. Bush drove the country into a ditch, and Obama took the reigns and kept gettin' it through the swamp. It's time for something different.

You don't seem to understand how the real world works.

Even if a total of 11 people voted in a presidential election, the electoral college would still award 200+ points to the winner and some idiot that only 11 people wanted for president will rule us all.

The idea of controlling your federal government through votes (and your state government to a large degree) is laughable.

I know exactly how it works. Here, any vote that isn't for a democrat is basically a tossed vote. I'll still go on record as having made my vote though, and if enough people do that, it'll add strength for the next time. If everyone votes for shit, you can be pretty certain all you'll get is shit.
