Giants Strahan On Philly Fans

"Philly fans are nasty ... but they're great," Strahan said. "Everybody complains about them and most of it's true, but they love their team and they know their sports. They come out and support their team, good or bad and I'm sure it'll be that way Monday night."

Lets just say I'd hate to be the coach of the Eagals when they turn to sh*t, which usually happens with all great football teams(trades, sallary caps, yadda yadda yadda). That coach will probably get shot :Q. With that said, Go Giants!. I've never liked the egals, I think mainly because there are alot of bad ass black guy's who look like complete assh*les and since I grew up around those type of guy's I just cant bring myself to respect them. No I'm not racist, I'm black myself. Tiki Barber and Strahan own .

That said, I think you have the "egals" confused with some other team. The Eagles leader, Donovan McNabb, is a young man of solid, unprepossessing character and uncommon maturity. The rest of the Eagles are, for the most part, grind it out, lunchpail types not given to much BS.

Hugh Douglas talks some trash, but mostly and lovingly directed at young fellow defensive linemate Corey Simon, whom he refers to as "the fat little kid", as in "Nice to have the fat little kid back in the lineup". Hugh Douglas is an absolutely positive clubhouse force.

Sure, OT John Runyan is probably the nastiest, dirtiest playing lineman in the NFL, but, um, he's WHITE.

So, just who on the "egals" are you referring to, and how much are you willing to lose in a bet with me on Monday nights game?

Hey, c'mon now, I was there in the 700 level for the last Dallas game and there was nothing going on in my section but good clean family fun! 'Course, I'm an Eagles fan...

Okay, so a few fights had broken out in adjacent sections by the time the 3rd quarter was half-over. No big deal! Yeah, yeah, and everyone in a Cowboys jersey got an a55hole chant-that happens in every stadium, right? Too bad the Giants are so friggin inconsistent and stink in the red zone, maybe they will turn it around Monday night maybe not

One thing is for sure though, Strahan usually gets the better of Runyan.

To be honest I dont care for either team, in this instance I go with the giants just because Strahan and Tiki are such likeable people (HBO and Sports Center specials on them can account for that, Strahan just looks so damn funny when he smiles, I cant help but like him ). Overall I say the Giants Offense is pretty weak, and I'm sure the Eagals will win unless their not on top of their game, I always tend to root for the underdog, makes for a good laugh if they come out on top . From what I saw of the special on the Egals, Brian Dawkins, Duce Staley and Carlos Emmons stood out as the "sh*t talkers". I think in the end I'm probably just intimidated but their defense , those guy's are serious bad asses on the field and I feel sorry for every QB I watch go against them, you just know he's going to get cracked at least 3 times . McNabb seems like a cool character, one of those hard working but quiet types for sure. One thing's for sure though, I'm no bettin man .

I grew up in Philly. Years ago there was a sportscaster (Howard Cosel) who was always extoling the virtues of "America's Team" AKA the Dallas Cowboys, and dissing us. Once, he was walking through the lowest level, which was closed off. We could see him though and many of the guys unzipped their pants and relieved themselves, being quite purposeful in their aim. We were considered rude for doing that.
