Giants GeForce3 version -- how do patches work?

Anyone here own the Giants enhanced version for GeForce3? Do the regular Giants patches work on it, or not? If not, how the heck can you update it then?

OK, so what happens when they come up with a major fix? The people with regular Giants get it..but not the G3 Giants owners?
 
Not to harsh on you dude, but lay off the paranoia already, it will be ok, you're just gonna have to trust me... and the doctors in the white suits.
