Giants/Eagles

Giants are played like ass the first half, and are very lucky to be down by only 10. The amount of missed tackles is ridiculous, the vaunted pass rush is non-existant, the O line couldn't stop a thing, they are playing like they don't want a win.

And unless they radically turn things around in the 2nd half, they won't get one.

They won't deserve one.

I'm a BIG Eagles fan, but even I am surprised at the way the Giants have been playing.

Yea there are some high hopes for the Giants this year from their fans... I'm also hoping for a Jets win, though I don't have a lot of hope for them vs. the Pats :\

Tough schedule man, we play the Colts the first game, now the Eagles. Granted they don't have TO. McNabb and Westbrooke is still pretty damn deadly.

I'm pissed off about our offense. They can't give Manning any room to throw.

Don't even start with that. Yeah, the schedule is brutal, but the giants are supposed to be the cream of the NFC East crop. They are supposed to beat the Eagles. They are getting absolutely manhandled out there.They totally SUCK and they have no business sucking withthe talent they have. Going into Seattle 0-2 is not a good plan. They can almost kiss the season goodbye with the level of competition in the NFC East. If this season goes down the crapper as it appears to be headed, it's time for regime change. Coughlin will have to go. They have too much talent to suck.

The problem is nothing ever changes with the Giants. They STILL get penalties, STILL can't play pass defense, STILL pass more than they run, STILL never blitz.

Sometimes you just get beat, but they always beat themselves and that is the most frustrating.

This is pretty simple logic, I'll lay it out for you since Eagles fans are clearly lacking in brain power.

If the Eagles end up decent and the Giants end up terrible....its still a wash for me, because I expected one division rival to be good and one to be bad. Yes, I detest the Eagles and would prefer it be the other way around, but in the end, as long as Dallas is beating them both, I'm happy.

The main problems with the team are awful penalties, and a lousy, lousy secondary. Still, I'm shocked at how inept they've been at running the ball today.
