Giant III or VGA Silencer revision 3

I need opinions on whats better for my radeon 9800 pro, i would like to oc it as high as possible without artifacts

All the reviews I have read favor the VGA Silencer (any revision). I think your 9800 pro will work with any revision, the latter ones are for other cards like the All In Wonders and such because they have a different pcb design.

i haven't seen Giant III yet...
but i saw VGA Silencer 3, hmm, the heatsink is kinda weak.. I know it does the job well, but by looking at it the heatsink is kinda "cheap" though... it will be great if the future models vga silencer has heatpipes on it.

I do heard many positives reviews about VGA silencer 3

where woudl you even put the heat pipes on it. the design is so that air can free flow across the fins.

if a vga hsf can have heatpipe and also suck air out, it would be great!

that sucks, pretty risky. With my luck the card would go haywire as soon as I put on the VGA silencer.

yep. the giant 3 is a gimick
