Link - Aside from the standard issue black action suits, looks like it could be a pretty good summer popcorn flick.

The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer is supposed to show up during the third quarter and be online after that. Just a teaser though.
 
Looks like good production value but a bad movie overall.

However, Dennis Quaid is the man. Awesome actor. He might just make it worth it.
 
With Transformers and GI Joe coming out this summer the studios sure are banking on 80s nostalgia. I can't wait for the live action My Little Pony movie.

I might as well put up a giant "Nerd" sign over my head. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow were the only ninjas. The two things you saw jumping through the bus and flipping past rockets were Cobra BATs (Battle Android Troopers)

Ok, maybe those weren't BATs. I just paused it when one of the guys were going through the bus. The facemask on the helmet is clear and it looks like one of the Joes? Marlon Wayans, I think.

And ha, they got the dude that played Omar in Traitor in this too as a Joe, and The Mummy (Arnold Vosloo) as Zartan. And there's another Mummy alum playing Heavy Duty.

I was concerned when I saw Brendan Fraiser was in this, but after not seeing him at all in the preview and finding that his name wasn't on the list at IMDB anymore (???) I am full speed ahead for this!
 
The guy that directed this is a complete hack, so I can't imagine this being any good. The commercial didn't instill me with any confidence otherwise.
 
80's TV shows = awesome
80's reboots/refresh/whatever in 2000 or later = automatic indicator to stay away as it will kill you to watch it
