I have Norton Ghost 2000 PE here and I am trying to figure out how to ghost my NT 4 server. Can someone help me out?

I don't think any version released before August 15, 2000 (release of Ghost 2001, I think) can handle NTFS properly ... during restore, at least.

You need to boot the server with a bootdisk and run Ghost from the dosprompt.
All versions of Ghost (i think) support NTFS4, NTFS5 is a different story though.
Remember that NT doesn't support plug&play so don't use the image on different hardware.

Since the topic is on disk imaging and cloning computers, have any of you guys tried Image Cast 3?

Image Cast

It's pretty much the same function. But nobody's heard of Image Cast and everyone seems to mention ghost.

Ghost 5 and greater handle NTFS fine. Just start the program with the "-NTIL" extension.

example:

Ghost.exe -ntil

Ghost 5.01e revised NTFS handles, so it worked properly after that point. Like everyone else said, point and shoot. The revisions were made in SP4, so if you're working with a version before then, almost any recent version will work.
