Ghostbusters for the Wii quickly piques my interest

Wii screenshots - I kind of like the art style. It's not spectacular but it looks solid and fun. Hopefully, it pans out that way.

Here is a new trailer for the PS3/360 version for comparison.

More of a compare and contrast of how one game disappointed me and another pleasantly surprised. I ran across the Dead Rising gameplay video and then later the Ghostbusters screenshots for the Wii.

They're doing it right with Ghostbusters for the Wii - Completely build a different game for the Wii that suits the style and strengths of the Wii instead of trying to do a port from the PS3 and 360 like Capcom is doing with Dead Rising.

If there's a proton pack accessory for the Wii I will have a hard time resisting buying a Wii + game & accessories.

I was a "Ghostbuster" for Halloween when I was 7 🙂

I'd have way too much fun playing one now that I'm 30.

Aye. It's nice to see that companies are finally catching on to how to make good games for the Wii that don't look like crap. Look at Madden 09 All-Play. Rather than just doing a sloppy port job of Madden 08 for the old consoles, they actually made a decent football game designed for the Wii. For once, the Wii is getting the attention it deserves, and it's starting to get games that seem fitting for a system described as "a little faster than an Xbox." There are precious few games that look better than what's available even on the GameCube.
