Ghostbusters 3 is happening

I can see it already. Ray finds out he had a long lost son who's a biker, played by Shia Labuof. They bond while fighting ghosts, but meet aliens in the process. 5 stars.

They bond while fighting ghosts, but Shia's girlfriend, an incredibly hot model (which should have been a warning), turns into a rampaging demon. The age old question - keep the hot girl, or let her destroy the world so you can be with her. 6 stars.

Oddly, Karen Allen was in Animal House (cowritten by Harold Ramis)....and the reference you made... Not sure how dreamy she is these days, but Ray could break out his mood slime and see where it leads.

This is going to be awesome or horrible. There is no in between. PRAYing for awesome.

Who could play them? You need a proper mix:
1) nerd/scientist
2) Sexist lazy guy
3) ????
4) Average Joe that reminds you of a sports fan.

I think NONE of the original ghostbusters should show up in this. Murray is right.

Egon- I'm not sure. Maybe Will Arnet?

4) Average Joe that reminds you of a sports fan.

I can only hope that after 25 years, they won't just call it "Ghostbusters 3". The second one was as terrible as the first was good! It's time to start over.

If they're smart, it will either simply be a slight change to the spelling (to differentiate from the original), or else they would use the original along with a descriptor. (for example, Ghostbusters: Bermuda Triangle)

Can't agree with you there. Ghostbusters 2 was still pretty entertaining. Not as good, but I liked it.

+1

Judged entirely on its own merits Ghostbusters 2 was a decent movie. While it was far from being a comedy classic it was also far from being a waste of time. It only looked bad in comparison to the original.

How can you call Ghostbusters 2 terrible? Granted it's not as good as the 1st, but it's still very enjoyable.
