What is the best version of Ghost for copying the C drive boot partion to a CD Rom. It will have to be able to reinstall back to an operating system. Will Ghost do this easy?

Yes, with Ghost you can create a backup image of a paritition, then you can burn it to cd-r if you want. I think that is what your asking about.
