We've been doing it big in the bay area like this for years now. Just recently started to catch on outside the bay.

E-40 has references to this in his music.

2.get car rolling
3.hop out while car is still moving and dance around and climb on the car
 
That's just dumb.

And not dumb because it's a bunch of people who think they look cool when they aren't, it's just stupid

It's about getting out of your car and parading around it while its moving in an attempt to have fun without boundaries. And yes, there is a blatant disregard for safety. Dangerous activity? Sure, but there are plenty of other activies just as, if not more dangerous.

So to the haters who think this is ignorant? Move on, get out of here. People do it, get over it.

Is the car supposed to be running or does it matter? You'd think the old video of the guy sitting on top of his 4x4 truck and running into a telephone pole would have stopped this fad before it even began.
