Ghost Rider trailer out

the parts where he's human look good, but the ghost rider looks really cheesy. then again, im not familiar with the comics at all.
 
Hmmm... there appears to be a strong chance this movie is going to be lame. I like the Ghost Rider and have plenty of the comics from when I was younger, but the premise behind it doesn't mix well in the modern world.

i used to read the comics and i thought the same thing
 
Honestly, it looks like it is going to be on the same level as The Punisher and Daredevil.
 
Well it does say February right? I'm sure they'll have time to polish up those "special f/x". But at this moment it does look cheesy/really really bad.
 
I wasnt able to view the trailor cause this computer here at work sucks my nards but, why oh why did they have to pick cage..... /cry

Just watched it at home, even though it looks kinda cheesey, it still looks awesome. Ghost Rider pwns

Because Cage has been trying to get into a comic book film for the longest (remember the Superman rumors?) and he is a huuuuge Ghost Rider fan.

If naming his son Kal-El is not proof that he's a comic book fan, I don't know what is. 🙂 I hope he does a decent job for the part.
 
Definitely a bit cheesey, but how else can you portray something like that?

Won't be a good flick, but will be fun I think. Worth seeing in theaters IMO
 
I didn't know that Ghost Rider was still going strong?? I haven't picked up a Ghost Rider comic since the whole Midnight Sons crossover
 
It looked cool, but I don't get the point of the movie from the trailer - who's he fighting? A bad guy? Himself? I guess that's why they call it a teaser...

Well actually the director of the film cast someone else for the part. Cage heard it and being a huge GR fan, convinced the director to go with him. Not like he's been making uber high quality movies anyway
 
Because of Cage, I'm on the fence. The GR looks really good though, but I have a hard time seeing Cage as Johnny.
